About MAFH
Magdalena Nicoara started this Adult Family Home in 2008 and has cultivated one of the leading care homes in the region due to her deep love and service for others. Magdalena's AFH offers a peaceful and comforting environment to all in their care. Since Magdalena's retirement, her daughter Sarah now owns the facility, with a desire to carry on her mother's legacy of caring for others with passion.

Sarah O'Brien, R.N.Sarah is the Owner and Resident Manager. She started with Magdalena Adult Family home as a CNA in 2011 and has since become a Registered Nurse in 2016. She worked as a R.N. in the SDU/ICU and Cardiac Unit at Kadlec hospital for 6 years. Sarah specialized in cardiac care and also achieved her PCCN certification with a focus in critical care. She's a mother of two and possesses an altruistic heart, always putting the needs of those in her care above her own. Patient care has been a passion of hers for years and will always continue to be.

Colt O'Brien, ParamedicColt, Sarah's husband is co-owner of Magdalena AFH and has worked in Fire/EMS since 2009. He currently works as a Firefighter/Paramedic for the City of Richland. He spends his time off handling the business aspects of Magdalena AFH. He recently finished his degree in Healthcare Management and is working toward his Master's in Leadership and Management.

Laura Nicoara, CNALaura joined the team early 2022 as a CNA with specialties in dementia and mental health. She has a passion for helping others and bringing a smile to anyone near her. She is currently enrolled in CBC's Nursing Program. Laura is a true asset to Magdalena AFH and her drive and passion for patient care shines through every day.

Felicitas Flores, NAR
Felize is an experienced NAR that has been working at Magdalena's AFH since 2014. Her specialties include dementia and mental health. More than competent, Felize is trustworthy, reliable, responsible and efficient. Her compassion and patience for patient care make her beloved by the residents and coworkers. She is an invaluable resource to the team.
